These changes are not meant to happen overnight and will take some getting used to. I will give you ingredients to look out for when grocery shopping for new items to fill your pantry and fridge.
2. How to read a nutrition label, and why calorie counting doesn’t really matter.
Yes, this may sound a bit off from what you have learned about eating, losing weight or maintenance. When you understand what a calorie is and how to look at a nutrition label and claims made on products, this will all come together.
3. Macronutrients, micronutrients and water.
Protein, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and water. This section will explain each and help you understand your unique needs when choosing foods fuel your body.
4. Fats and their use in cooking, conventional seeds oils to avoid and why.
Seed oils are a hot topic- but do you really understand what they are and why we need to avoid them? I will explain to you what to use instead of seed oils and the temperatures correlating to each fat used for cooking.
5. How to balance a plate, eating to fullness and eating in the right order.
There is a right order to eat? Yes, especially to control blood sugar spikes. This balanced plate will be much different than the conventional food pyramid.
6. Time restricted eating, 3 meals a day and why to avoid snacking.
Not all snacks are created equal, and by the end of this video you will understand why.
